The Department of English was started in 2013 the year in which the college was established. The department that offers UG Courses has begun Post graduate courses. The post graduate course M A in English Language and Literature was introduced in November 2020.The Department of English has been playing a prominent role in educating and empowering students to encounter any situation in achieving a good career and ultimately to become a disciplined citizen

Stages and spaces are provided by the department for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to enhance the budding creative talents of the students.

It includes cultural programMes held every year on various occasions, giving opportunities to students to participate in national & international workshops and seminars and organizing language development programmes.

The organizations like Literary club, Film club and Nature club also contribute their activities to promote the students.

Fundamental goal of our department is to provide innovative and quality education with high standard to achieve academic excellence and provides platform for the students to achieve their career goals.
